This commercial-grade sifter merges lightness with strength.
Built for all-day use in bakery kitchens,
the sifter has a frame that's hard to bend (we tried to and couldn't).
Yet despite its toughness,
this sifter is light to hold--even the 16-1/2-inch one, at a lightweight 1.8 pounds.
The mesh screen is taut, its border tucked into and gripped by a groove in the sifter frame.
Unique to the Vollum sieve is a bottom
that's built for same-size-sifter stacking.
Besides saving space,
that stacking makes it easy
to pick out the sieve you want
from the different-size sieves you keep in your kitchen.
