    Description

Listing is for a brand new single Oclaro 700m
    W
638nm laser diode Mounted in a copper 12mm module with leads.
The copper module upgrade provides a huge  improvement  in thermal conductivity over the standard brass module for moving the heat away from the diode to your heatsink which gives a much more stable output from the diode.
Please Note this unit comes with an acrylic lens in it. It is for those that want to use their own lens solution. It will keep dust and contaminates out of the module until you are ready to put yours in. Replace with lens of choice. Threading is M9X0.5 which is the most common threading used. The best options are the Three element Glass Lens or the 405-G-2 Lens.

    Data Sheet
Save yourself the headache of pressing and soldering. Just add heatsink and proper laser driver with t
he current limited to no more than 1100mA. Don't attempt to connect directly to a battery or you will damage this diode.
This is the diode that everyone has been talking about.
Modules are fully tested to be in working order and the leads will have the ends twisted and soldered together for ESD protection. Please use all ESD precautions and short your driver leads discharging any capacitors before hooking up your driver to this module.
Here is what you get. Module is 12mm(11.96mm)X30mm.
