    Description

    Beautiful service plate circa 1950's Imperial by Salem China Company, Made in USA.
    The plate is 11" wide, the lip is green with an  extravagant overlay of 23 karat gold in a filigree pattern. The rim is also lined with gold.
    The well has a graceful reproduction of an 1860's fashion plate of two women in elaborate hoop-skirted gowns. The color palate of the fashion plate is lavender, green and purple.
    The plate is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. There are some rust stains on the back of the plate, looks like from a plate display hanger.
