Up for auction is a vegetable bowl made by Salem China Company.

It measures just over 2 ¼ inches tall, just under 2 inches deep, almost 9 inches in diameter and weighs 1 pound 3 ¾ ounces.
The condition is good but certainly vintage!
On the inside it shows light wear on the decoration, scratches, scuffs, 2 spots, a few small pits and bumps, and a bubbly bumpy area.
On the outer side there are 2 holder marks from firing, some texture flaws in the glazing, and a few scratches as well.
According to my research, Salem China Company was founded in 1898 in Salem, Ohio.
At their peak they produced 25,000 pieces per day and had over 500 employees.
Production cease in 1967.
The number 66 on the back of this bowl could be the year it was made.
